An abrasion is a mild or major opening or tear to the upper layer of the skin, the epidermis. Usually abrasions to not leave scars, but major abrasions can cause tissue scarring. Usually abrasions happen as a result of the epidermis coming in contact with a rough or sharp surface.
Thyme Tree Oil
The area can be disinfected using thyme tree oil (3-5 drops) with a cup of warm water.
Calendula & Aloe Vera
Calendula is an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and stringent it promotes skin growth and can stop bleeding. Aloe Vera is also awesome and does everything Calendula does.
Marigold leaves is anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, just crush leaves and rub on open wound.
Iodized salt is great. Salt draws the infection out and iodine is a natural astringent.
1 part vinegar and 3 parts water is a great solution
